Holly Grefe is a choir teacher at Lafayette High School in Lafayette, Louisiana.  She's been teaching in the state of Louisiana for over 24 years, and in that time has changed the lives of a multitude of students. As a parent to several of Holly's students said, "There is not a doubt that every student who journeys through Holly Grefe’s Choir is better prepared for the difficult world that lies before them. It is apparent that the lessons learned in the old choir room at Lafayette High School age well with time." For over six years, Gina Englund has been running Bright Beginnings Academy, a school she started for students with dyslexia in Mobile, Alabama. Educating students from grades one to eight, she has made a true difference in the local community. As one of her students said, "My teacher goes above and beyond! She took a leap of faith and started a school for dyslexic children! She is always looking for ways to improve our learning experience. Every year, I ask Mrs. Gina to add a grade." Lynn Bourinaris is a Culinary Arts teacher (yum!) at Sussex County Technical School in Sparta, New Jersey.
